Laurent DUPRÉ dit Terrebonne was baptized on 2 January 1746 in New Orleans (Orleans Parish), Louisiana, USA although he was likely born on the German Coast in St. Charles Parish, Louisiana¹³²⁶ He was buried on 24 April 1783 in Opelousas (St. Landry Parish), Louisiana, USA.¹³²⁷ His succession is dated 8 July 1783.¹³²⁸ Laurent fought in the American Revolution in the Opelousas Militia. His name appears on several Opelouas Militia lists but one of the most critical for entry into the DAR/SAR is the 8 June 1777 list. ²⁷²⁹ He Marie Josèphe FONTENOT and Laurent DUPRÉ dit Terrebonne⁸⁴² were married on 26 May 1772 at Saint Landry Catholic Church in Opelousas (St. Landry Parish), Louisiana, USA.¹³²⁹

215. Marie Josèphe FONTENOT was born about 1757.^1330,1331 She died after 1 February 1801 at the age of 44.

Between 1830 and 1831 he was a 8th Governor of Louisiana. Jacques died on 14 September 1846 at the age of 73 in Opelousas (St. Landry Parish), Louisiana, USA. He was a Louisiana State Representative. He was a Louisiana State Senator. Jacques was buried at St. Landry Catholic Cemetery in Opelousas (St. Landry Parish), Louisiana, USA.
