Jean Baptiste RABALAIS II was born on 12 February 1783 in (Pointe Coupée Parish), Louisiana, USA.⁹⁹⁹ He was baptized on 8 August 1784 at St. François d’Assise Catholic Church & Cemetery in (Pointe Coupée Parish), Louisiana, USA.⁹⁹⁹ Per "Some Early Families of Avoyelles Parish, Louisiana", Jean Baptiste owned a large tract of land at the junction of Bayou Rouge and Bayou des Glaises at time of marriage to Marie Manette Gremillion in 1809. He was likely the "Jean Baptiste Rabalais fils" whose succession inventory was dated 16 August 1819 and documented in Avoyelles Inventory Book I indicating he was deceased by that date. This seems to be confirmed by the fact that he was deceased by 3 May 1824 because he was listed as such on the 3 May 1824 civil marriage record of Manette Deidanie Rabalais & Joseph Joffrion III. Marie Manette GRÉMILLION and Jean Baptiste RABALAIS II²⁵¹ were married on 25 November 1809 in Mansura (Avoyelles Parish), Louisiana, USA.¹⁰⁰⁰

Marie Manette GRÉMILLION was born on 22 February 1788 in (Pointe Coupée Parish), Louisiana, USA.¹⁰⁰¹ She was baptized on 19 March 1788 at St. François d’Assise Catholic Church & Cemetery in (Pointe Coupée Parish), Louisiana, USA.¹⁰⁰¹ She died after 17 January 1826. This was the date her daughter, Coralie, married Faustin Dufour.

	iii.	Coralie RABALAIS was born about 1811 in (Avoyelles Parish), Louisiana, USA. She was buried on 11 April 1855 at St. Paul's in Mansura and her estate was in succession by 14 April 1855.
	iv.	Francois RABALAIS was born on 14 April 1814.¹⁰⁰⁴ He was baptized on 4 October 1814 at Saint Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in Mansura (Avoyelles Parish), Louisiana, USA.¹⁰⁰⁴
