Jean Baptiste (Jean Baptiste Pierre) MAYEUX was born on 6 September 1754 in (Pointe Coupée Parish), Louisiana, USA.¹¹⁵⁰ He was baptized on 25 December 1754 in (Pointe Coupée Parish), Louisiana, USA.¹¹⁵⁰ On 21 October 1777 in (Pointe Coupée Parish), Louisiana, Jean Baptiste Lacour, curator for François, Joseph, and Baptiste Mayeux, filed a petition before the court regarding the settlement of the account of the Mayeux estate.³¹⁷¹ On 30 October 1777 in (Pointe Coupée Parish), Louisiana, François, Joseph, and Baptiste Mayeux affirmed that the account of the Mayeux estate rendered by Jean Baptiste Lacour was true.³¹⁷² On 30 October 1777 in (Pointe Coupée Parish), Louisiana, a settlement of the account of the Mayeux estate took place with the heirs, François, Joseph, and Baptiste Mayeux - all the age of majority.³¹⁷³ He appeared in the census in 1785 at Avoyelles Post in (Avoyelles Parish), Louisiana, USA. In the 1790s and, likely, the very early 1800s, Jean Baptiste served as one of two "Alcaldes" under Avoyelles Post Commandant Etienne Robert de la Morandier (Joseph Joffrion was the other Alcalde.) An "Alcade" was similar to a Justice of the Peace and his job would have been to arbitrate disputes, estimate inventory values (such as succession inventories) and serve as witness to various official proceedings. The date of his death is unknown. Originally, it was thought that his succession was file in 1803 but he appears to be alive on the religious marriage records of several children which took place in the 1820s.¹¹⁵¹ Marie Julie (Julienne) BORDELON and Jean Baptiste (Jean Baptiste Pierre) MAYEUX^251,842 were married on 4 June 1776 in (Pointe Coupée Parish), Louisiana, USA.¹¹⁵²

Marie Julie (Julienne) BORDELON was born on 2 May 1761 in (Pointe Coupée Parish), Louisiana, USA.¹¹⁵³ She was baptized on 17 May 1761 in (Pointe Coupée Parish), Louisiana, USA.¹¹⁵³ She died after 16 August 1825. On this date, she signed the religious marriage record of her son, Louis, to Marie Gagnard at St. Paul's in Mansura. She is likely the "Julie Bordelon" who was buried at St. Paul's in Mansura on 1 September 1829.

	iii.	Bridget Julia MAYEUX was born on 7 April 1785. She was baptized on 20 November 1785 at Saint Landry Catholic Church in Opelousas (St. Landry Parish), Louisiana, USA. ¹¹⁵⁷ Her first husband was Pierre Couvillion and her second husband was Joseph Roy II (widower of Marie Anne Bordelon). She was deceased by 11 September 1844 based on succession records.
	iv.	Narcisse MAYEUX was born on 12 June 1787.¹¹⁵⁸ He was baptized on 26 November 1787 in (Pointe Coupée Parish), Louisiana, USA.¹¹⁵⁸ He was buried on 29 November 1818. This burial date seems to be confirmed by the fact that his estate was in succession by 7 December 1818 in Avoyelles Parish.
